The 26th Annual Super Bowl Soulful Celebration set the stage for an unforgettable night of music, faith, and football, bringing together some of the biggest names in entertainment, sports, and ministry. As an official NFL-sanctioned event, this celebration continues to honor culture, resilience, and community.

A Homecoming of Faith and Music
Melanie Few, the event's founder and executive producer, expressed her deep gratitude for the celebration’s legacy. “Returning to New Orleans, a city that embodies resilience, culture, and faith, feels like the perfect way to honor the essence of what this event has always stood for,” Few stated. “New Orleans is a city with a heartbeat of music, a legacy of strength, and a deep sense of community—qualities that reflect the very soul of this celebration.”
The event, themed “Keep Going,” will premiere as a primetime special on FOX on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 8 PM ET/7 PM CT, with additional airings on FS1, FOX Sports VOD, FOX Soul, and Tubi.
Star-Studded Red Carpet and Performances
The red carpet was graced by notable figures including the New Orleans Police Chief, former New Orleans Mayor Marc Morial, pastors, athletes, and artists. The evening was hosted by comedian and actor Bill Bellamy, known for Love Jones and Any Given Sunday, alongside Emmy Award-winning media personality Rocsi Diaz, a proud New Orleans native.
Musical performances paid homage to the cultural heritage of New Orleans, featuring legends such as The Isley Brothers, Muni Long, Yolanda Adams, Tori Kelly, and Jonathan McReynolds. Local icons like Master P, Big Freedia, Lucky Daye, and Trombone Shorty also graced the stage. The soulful harmonies of the NFL Players Choir added a spiritual dimension, along with heartfelt tributes to NFL players and community leaders.

Bill Bellamy shared his excitement: “Hosting the Super Bowl Soulful Celebration is like hitting the trifecta—music, faith, and football all in one show! And you can’t beat doing it in New Orleans. I’m excited to bring some laughs, some energy, and to be part of this incredible night.”
Rocsi Diaz, equally thrilled, said, “Growing up in the lively vibe of New Orleans, I’ve felt the magic, resilience, and soul that make this city totally unique. This isn’t just an event; it’s a celebration of faith, community, and unity—values that define New Orleans and inspire the world.”
New Orleans native Dawn Richard emphasized the honor of hosting the Super Bowl in her city, highlighting its rich culture and vibrancy.

Yolanda Adams, accompanied by her daughter Taylor Adams Crawford, reflected on New Orleans' recent challenges, saying, “We want to show New Orleans more than ever that we are not going to stop coming, we’re not afraid.”
Terry Crews expressed his love for the city: “It feels like home. Everyone is so nice, so welcoming, and the hospitality is unmatched.”
Former Mayor Marc Morial proclaimed, “Let’s reaffirm, emphasize, and shout loud. There is no better city.”
Dee-1, the New Orleans-based rapper and activist, shared his mission: “Whenever I have a platform, I know God gave it to me on purpose. My job is to take your attention and let you know where I get my light from—my God.”

The event also celebrated individuals making a difference both on and off the field:
Lifetime of Inspiration Award – Michael Strahan, former NFL player and FOX Sports broadcaster, honored for his impact in sports, media, and philanthropy. “Being recognized with this award is truly special. The Super Bowl Soulful Celebration is more than just music or football; it’s about making a real impact,” said Strahan.
Community Award – Cameron Jordan (New Orleans Saints) recognized for his leadership and service, presented by Disney.
Rising Star Award – Jared Verse (Los Angeles Rams) honored for his dedication and excellence, presented by Lexus.
Faith In Action Award – Jayden Daniels (Washington Commanders quarterback) acknowledged for his strong faith and perseverance, also awarded the AP Rookie of the Year and Moment of the Year at NFL Honors.
HBCU Spotlight Player Award – Cobie Durant (Los Angeles Rams), recognized for his standout performance at South Carolina State, presented by P&G.
An Unforgettable Evening
As the night came to a close, emerging artists like Kurrenzy Shay and Ado Soul reflected on the show's inspiring message. “The theme ‘Keep Going’ is very inspiring,” said Kurrenzy Shay. “The people of New Orleans are resilient—we just keep going no matter what.” Ado Soul added, “Never let life’s circumstances keep you down. Always give your best and never stop pushing forward.”
