Tammy D. Taylor is a woman of many talents and titles, embodying the spirit of empowerment and self-love. As a published model, author, actress, and women’s advocate, Tammy has dedicated her life to inspiring women to believe in themselves and love themselves unconditionally. Tammy is the founder of The Weight We Carry Women’s Initiative Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to empower women professionally, economically, and personally. Through various initiatives and programs, this organization encourages women to actively pursue their aspirations, providing the resources they need to thrive.

For those struggling to chase their dreams, Tammy offers this advice: "Believe in yourself because if you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will. The first step is always the hardest, but once you take that first step, the second step is going to get a little easier, and then the third and so on, but it all starts with that first step." Tammy's driving force is her desire to create a lasting legacy. She wants her children’s children to be positively impacted by the work she is doing now. "I want my example to continue for generations," she says.
Tammy's journey hasn't been without its challenges. Her greatest challenge has been herself, battling self-sabotage and feelings of unworthiness. It took her being completely depleted and giving everything she had to the Lord to find her confidence. Now, she knows that everything she does is guided by Him, and she is confident in her path. Among her many accomplishments, Tammy considers putting her trust in God and finding her purpose to be her greatest. She realizes that everything she’s gone through in her past has led her to this moment. Moving forward, Tammy plans to expand her network to provide more resources to women in need, pursue more acting opportunities, and write another book.
